Meet our Regional Sales Manager James Price.
Speaking to James, it’s clear that he was destined to work in the industry; James’s first toys were toy trucks, and he grew up with an awareness of our industry and of Hillend Engineering, from his Dad.
He started his career as an Apprentice, working on Scanias, before moving to Vision Techniques as Sales Manager for their truck safety technologies. The Hillend Engineering Management Team knew that James’s passion for the industry and strong all-round knowledge would make him a great asset to the business as we launch of our next generation vehicles, and he started with us in October of last year.
“I really love my job, it can be hard work, but it’s worth putting in the time when you can see the company constantly improving and developing. I’ve come in at a great time, with the launch of our best, well-engineered, high-quality products – it’s the hardest time in the economy, but a great time to be part of Hillend Engineering.”
James wants to visit more customers across the UK, building relationships and showcasing the ‘bulletproof’ vehicles that have placed us at the top of the industry. Bringing our Front End Loader and Powerlink vehicles to more companies, James hopes to demonstrate the benefits that our significant investment into materials and production technologies have made in enabling us to produce high-quality, robust market-leading products.
